At the time of writing, I am busy packing my bags ready to go home to see my family and prepare for the World Cup. It will be very difficult to leave Jo and the boys behind for what will be my last International appearance but I know they understand.
My Mother is ill, after having a stroke, so I want to spend some time with her before I fly to Australia. My family in Goroka are very special to me and it is sometimes difficult with them been so far away. I think going home makes me realise how lucky we all are in this Country and it helps me keep my feet on the floor. I can go in the knowledge I will be playing for Rovers next year which has made me and my family a lot happier. I have moved back to Hull and we have all settled back in very well. My friend and fellow countryman Makali Aizue is also staying for another year which is also great news. I do think Maka is underestimated and I think there is still more to come from him in the future. Everyone keeps telling me this will be last season and they may be right but I have always said my body will tell me when it is time to hang up my boots so don't write me off just yet. There is no better feeling than playing rugby and I intend to do it for as long as I possibly can. I feel Rovers can improve on last season and I, for one, am looking forward to working with Justin and the boys again next year. Our superb fans deserve success and I feel with the board, coaching staff, players and supporters we have at the club trophies are just around the corner. Yours,
